Council Wide Pinewood Derby 2025

Council Pinewood Derby Event

Date: April 26, 2025

Location: Camp Decorah, W7520 Council Bay Road Holmen, WI 

This event is FREE for all Scouts 

Join us for the annual Council Pinewood Derby event on April 26, 2025! This exciting event is open to all scouts and families in the council, offering a day filled with fun, creativity, and friendly competition. Each Den will have a class, and there will also be an Open Division for SBSA, Venturers, non-Scout siblings, adults, alumni, etc.

Event Schedule:

• 10:00 AM: Registration and Check-in
• 10:45 AM: Opening Ceremony
• 11:00 AM: Races Begin
• 1:00 PM: Awards Ceremony

How to Participate:

• Register Online Below
• Car Kits: Car kits are available for purchase at the council office. We also carry lots of accessories like tools, wheels, noise kits, decals, and more! 
• Rules and Regulations: Ensure your car meets all the Official Pinewood Derby Rules and Regulations.

Awards and Prizes:

• Fastest Car: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place 
• Best Design: Awards for creativity and craftsmanship
• Scout Spirit: Special award for best display of scout spirit

What to Bring:

• Your completed Pinewood Derby car
• Scout uniform or event t-shirt
• Water bottle 
• Enthusiastic spirit and cheering voices

Additional Activities:

• Craft Stations: Make your own derby car accessories and decorations
• Photo Booth: Capture memories with fun props and backdrops
• Lego Cars: Create your very own Lego Derby Car
