Fall 2025 Popcorn Sale Runs Sept 19th - Oct. 26th!
Fall 2025 sale will have:
- Greater variety of popcorn products, including products in tins and buckets rather than bags
- NO RISK return policy – Units & Families can order products to have on hand to sell and know that product checked out can be returned if undamaged. EXCEPTION: Special order products are excluded from the return policy
- Added selling point of letting customers know that this is a Wisconsin product

Important Next Steps
- Decide as a Pack or Troop to participate in the Popcorn Sale
- Make plans to have a Parent or Adult in your Pack volunteer as the Popcorn Kernel (lead person organizing the sale): Find a description of this role here
- Have that person ( or other individuals if they are not available) attend one of the Fall Kickoff meetings on 7/31, 8/2, 8/5, or 8/7. Sign up for which Fall Kickoff you will attend here.
- Sign up as kernel in the Pecatonica River system – prpopcorn.com
- Place an order for product by Friday, August 30, 2024. This popcorn will be picked up on September 17-18th at Trane Warehouse Bldg. 15

Key Dates
- July 31st, August 2, 5, , or 7 -- Popcorn Kickoff Events -- attend one with another member of your unit attending the Cub Scout or SBSA Membership session to earn an extra 5% commission!
- August 1 -- First day of 'friends and family / online ' sales
- August 28 -- Show & Sell popcorn orders due -- place your order in the prpopcorn.com system
- September 6 -- Scout Popcorn Kickoff at Riverside Amusement Park 10:00am - Noon
- September 16-18 -- Popcorn Distribution at Trane warehouses in La Crosse
- September 19 -- First day of storefront / show & sell sales
- October 26 - Last day of sales
- October 30 - FINAL Deadline for any unsold product to be returned, Please schedule appointment with Amy Bettis amy.bettis@scouting.org
- October 30 - All 'Take Order" Sale Orders and Military Donations must be entered into Pecatonica Popcorn Portal by 11:59pm to ensure delivery date for final distribution
- November 1 - Submission deadline for Top Sellers to be eleigible for Jump Start Party
- November 6 - Final distribution of product
- November 9 - Top Sellers Party at Jump Start Trampoline Park (Scout must sell $1000+ to be eligible)
- December 12 - All popcorn sales money due to Gateway Area Council (Cash or Check)
Prizes for Selling
Units will choose if they want their Scouts to receive prizes for selling popcorn OR if they want to do their own recognition program.
Refer to HOW-TO instructions to enter unit prizes. FINAL ORDER DEADLINE for Keller Prize Portal is November 24, 2025. Orders MUST BE submitted before the deadline. Late prize orders will not be accepted.
Units NOT doing the prize program will recieve an additional 3% commission.
