Spring Camporee 2024

Spring Camporee is May 3rd-5th, 2024 at Pine View Campground in Sparta.

Cost of attendance: $20/person - Includes the Safety Merit Badge or the Totin/Whittling Chip

Join us for this year's Spring Camporee at Pine View Campgroud in Fort McCoy. The theme for this year is Highland Games! We will be competing in games on Saturday afternoon after the Safety Merit Badge held that morning. 

Webelos & Arrow of Light Scouts encouraged to attend! We are offering the Totin chip & Whittling chip for these scouts during the time of the Scouts BSA Safety Merit Badge.

Parents: If you have a Webelos Scout and are wondering what the transition from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA would be like, we have a great opportunity for you! On Saturday, we will be hosting a Parent's Crossover Forum hosted by Parents who have been through it!

Safety Merit Badge Presentation will include a fire safety demonstration using the Fort McCoy smoke house & a fire extinguisher demonstration! Thank you to the Safety personel at Fort McCoy for volunteering their time.

• 6:30-8:30pm: Arrival and Check-In, Camp Set-up
• 9:00-9:20pm: Camporee Staff Meeting - Pavillion
• 9:30-10:00pm: Leader Meeting (SM, ASM, and SPL required) – Pavillion **Bring Leader’s Guide
• 10:00pm: Taps and Quiet time

Saturday, May 4, 2024

• 5:55am: First Call
• 6:00am: Reveille
• 6:30-8:30am: Breakfast and cleanup. Arrival and Check-In available.
• 8:30-9:00am: Colors, Opening Ceremony, and Announcements
• 9:00am-12:00pm: Safety Merit Badge
• 12:00-1:30pm: Lunch and Break
• 1:30-4:00pm: Patrol Activities: Highland Games
• 4:00-7:00pm: Supper and Dutch Oven Cobbler preparation
• 5:00pm: Retreat to the Colors
• 7:00pm: All entries for the cooking competition shall be turned in
• 7:15-7:30: Cobbler Fest
• 7:30-7:45pm: Closing Flag Ceremony
• 7:45-9:30pm: Awards, Campfire, Crossover, and Order of the Arrow Induction Callout
• 10:00pm: Taps and Quiet Time

Sunday, May 5, 2024

• 6:00am: Reveille
• 6:30-8:30am: Breakfast and Cleanup
• 8:30-9:00: Scout’s Own Service
• 9:00-11:30am: Clean up, Pack up, Check-out and departure

Refund Policy

All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Scout Service Center.

Any refund granted may have a portion kept back to cover administration costs already incurred for the attendee.

All refund requests will be considered on a case by case basis.
