Get Ready for an Exciting Adventure at Camp Decorah!
Our 2025 theme is MINECRAFT! Join us for an unforgettable Minecraft-themed overnight camp designed for Cub Scouts entering grades 4-5 in the fall.However, all grades are able to attend if other camp dates don't work for your family! This camp will feature more focus on camping, cooking, and more. This immersive experience will allow each group to work on rank advancements specific to their level while having fun and enjoying all that Camp Decorah has to offer! Those that register before May 15th will recieve a FREE Camp themed T-shirt!
Our trained Camp Decorah staff will lead this exciting camp, ensuring a memorable and safe adventure for all Scouts.

Just as Cub Scouts may be preparing for their first overnight camp, we also recognize that many parents and guardians may also be preparing for their first overnight outdoors. Here is a bit more information about what to expect when coming to an overnight camp at Camp Decorah!
During both the Cub Scout and Webelos/Arrow of Light Overnight Camps, all attendees will be staying in Camp Decorah’s Camper Cabins. Depending on the size, each rustic cabin has two or four cots. Camper Cabins DO NOT have mattresses, so plan to bring an air mattress, or other type of padding along with your sleeping bag and pillow. Each Cub Overnight campsite has a latrine bathroom, with an outdoor sink for campers to wash their hands and brush their teeth. With just a short walk from any campsite, campers can access the shower house, which has showers and flushing toilets. Campsites do not have electricity, however the Dahl Center (dinning hall) has a place to charge electronics.
At Camp Decorah, meals are served in the Dahl Center by a team of highly experienced cooks. They serve a variety of delicious and balanced meals, including a breakfast or salad bar depending on the meal. If you or your Cub Scout have dietary needs (such as being Gluten Free or having a food allergy), our kitchen staff and Health Officer will work together to accommodate those dietary restrictions.

Adults are encouraged to bring their phones but challenged to be “unplugged” while they are at camp. We welcome taking pictures of all the fun your Cub Scout is having! In addition, Camp Decorah leadership uses a messaging system to keep parents, as well as staff, up to date on the latest program opportunities, weather situations, and more. Parents can also message the Camp Decorah leadership directly if need be. In addition, many staff members carry radios, that allow them to quickly connect to leadership, our Health Officer, and other program areas.

All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Scout Service Center.

Any refund granted will have a portion deducted to cover administrative costs incurred if canceled within two weeks of the event.

All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
