February Council-Wide Roundtable
Roundtable Topic: Sharing the Scouting Story
Please have at least one representative (leader or volunteer) from your Unit attend Roundtable on Thursday, February 9 at 7:00 pm. Bring important updates back to your committee!
SHARING THE SCOUTING STORY
There’s no better recruiting tool than an excited Cub Scout, Scouts BSA member, Venturer, or Explorer telling friends about their adventures. But if you’d like to reach a bigger audience, attend Roundtable to learn six practical tips your unit can use to get local news coverage with little effort.
CUB SCOUT VOLUNTEER BREAKOUT
- Want to learn how your Pack can plan and run a fun and exciting Pinewood Derby? Then this Roundtable is for you. Learn about planning your event, tips and tricks for race day, ideas for awards, and more!
- Also, bring ideas for ways that Cub Scouts can get involved in local activities and events. These events could allow your Pack to get some local news coverage!
SCOUTS BSA VOLUNTEER BREAKOUT
- Want to know how you can become a Merit Badge Counselor? How can you get the Scouts in your Unit connected to the Merit Badge Counselors they need? How can a Scout complete a partial Merit Badge? Attend Roundtable to learn more about Merit Badge Counseling.
- Tim Donahue also has a very important message to share with Scouts BSA unit leaders and volunteers. Please have a representative from your Troop attend!
