Pop Up Cub Scout Adventure Day

Health Heroes - $10 per youth

November 8th, 2025

9am-12pm at Viterbo University 

Join us for our Health Heroes Adventures at Viterbo University, where Scouts will learn all about germs, first aid, healthy living, and more all from hands on activities provided by the nursing department at Viterbo University. Younger Scouts K-2nd will focus on an in depth journey through the world of germs, while older Scouts 3rd-5th will learn important first aid skills!

Check in at 9am in the Brophy Center at 10th St, La Crosse, WI 54601. Pick up at the same location at 12pm.

What To Bring:

• Good shoes for walking in
• Clothes that could get messy from crafts/expirements
• Water bottle

Each Scout will learn about health topics closely related to the Cub Adventure curriculum. Each Scout may start to learn some of the following objectives for certain Adventures, but will not earn a full one! We recommend they take their knowledge and excitement back to their Pack and Den to dive further into these topics.

Lion & Tiger Scouts must attend with an adult partner! Adults are welcome and encouraged to join the other ages as well but only required for Lions & Tigers.
 

Lions, Tigers, and Wolves will focus on the world of Germs!

• Lions (Kindergarten) - Fun On The Run: Talk about food groups, handwashing, and rest.
• Tigers (1st) - Tiger Bites: Food groups, hand washing, sleep.
• Wolf (2nd) - Germs Alive: Hand washing, germ expirements, covering our sneezes

Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts will learn about First Aid & Emergency Response!

• Bears (3rd) - No Specific Adventure Focus
• Webelos (4th) - My Safety: Discussing how to prepare for a Natural Event
• Arrow of Light (5th) - First Aid: Begin learning about all the First Aid basics
