From the smallest Lion to the Eagle, each Scout is charged from the beginning of their journey to “do my duty…to help other people at all times.”  This spirit of service does not develop on its own. It is modeled, taught, and reinforced by the adults who lead.  Scouters place the growth, well-being, and success of Scouts first through Servant Leadership. By leading through service rather than authority, Scouters create an environment where young people learn not only what it means to serve, but how to lead by serving others, both within Scouting and beyond.

AGENDA FOR THIS MONTH’S ROUNDTABLE:

? GUEST SPEAKER – Thomas Thibodeau – Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership at Viterbo University

? UPDATES – Upcoming Merit Badge Days, Scouts BSA Winter Klondike, Scout Sunday, Winter Wonder Cubs Camp, and more!

? Scouts BSA & Cub Scouts Breakout Discussions:

  • How can we create a culture of Servant Leadership in our Troop and/or Pack?
  • How do we prepare youth to be Servant Leaders?
  • BE PREPARED to share your Unit’s service project ideas – both past and future!

COME READY TO LEARN, SHARE, AND GROW TOGETHER AS LEADERS—BECAUSE WHEN WE CONNECT, OUR SCOUTS THRIVE!

***ROUNTABLE INCENTIVE***

If a representative from your Unit attends at least 7 Council Roundtables from September 2025 to May 2026, your Unit will receive a credit for a free weekend of tent-camping or a BOGO overnight in a lodge at Camp Decorah!
