This month, we will be joined by GUEST SPEAKER AND PSYCHOLOGIST TOM TRANNEL, who will discuss YOUTH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH.  Some topics will include:

  • What are some current trends and dynamics in youth behavioral health?
  • What challenges face today’s youth that may be unfamiliar to us as adults.
  • What are some ways adults can provide positive support and positive reinforcement for today’s youth?
  • What does it take to motivate youth in 2026?

 

ALOS AT THIS MONTH’S ROUNDTABLE:

UPDATES – Upcoming Training Opportunities for Adults & Youth, Gateway Scouting Recognition Event, Camp Decorah Easter Egg Hunt, Spring Camporee, and more!

SCOUTS BSA BREAKOUT – ADVANCEMENT:

  • Motivating youth as they advance in Scouting.
  • Building and providing support throughout the advancement process.
  • Having honest conversations with our Scouts about their goals in the Scouts BSA program.

CUB SCOUTS BREAKOUT – GROWTH MINDSET:

  • What Growth Mindset and how do Cub Scout advancements contribute to it?
  • Regularity with advancement and recognition for Cub Scouts.

 

***ROUNTABLE INCENTIVE***

If a representative from your Unit attends at least 7 Council Roundtables from September 2025 to May 2026, your Unit will receive a credit for a free weekend of tent-camping or a BOGO overnight in a lodge at Camp Decorah!
