Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Camp Decorah - located north of Holmen Wisconsin on the scenic Black River located in the heart of the Driftless Region.
First time ever that this unique 350-acre Scout Camp property is open to racing. 

Camp Decorah is the origin of the Bluffland Traverse, a point to point route running from the northern end of La Crosse County to the southern end following the Mississippi River and the Bluffs that overlook it. Learn more about the Bluffland Traverse here.

This race offers trail runs & mountain bike racing through a property with a northwoods feel located amongst the bluffs & rivers of the Driftless.

The race course loops through beautiful Camp Decorah, offering a blend of single track & double track trails and a trail run that meanders through majestic white pines. Expect gentle elevation changes as you wind through iconic summer camp sights.

The weekend's events will have something for everyone, from novice to expert.
Unique offerings will include a FREE kids race and a family fun fest to include the Bouldering Wall, Nature Center, Archery, Crafts, Outdoor Skills, and more. To register, please fill out the form Here!

We are pleased to offer a Kids Zone !  as a way to enhance your family’s race experience.
Kids Zone will run from 930AM – 1230PM. Plan to check your child in 915AM – 1230PM.
Activities will include bouldering wall, inflatable BB Gun Range, Nature Activity, Outdoor Skills, Team Building games and more.  Activities are suitable for ages 5 – 12.

There will be a Kids Race at 1030AM for both runner or bikers. Must bring a helmet and bike for the bike race.

Post Race Food and On-Site Meals

                Racers will have complimentary refreshments available (water/milk/banana/cookie) as they finish their race.
                Meals are also available for purchase on site by racers, spectators, friends & family.

A Pancake Breakfast will be available from 8AM – 10AM.
Cost is $10 for pancakes/sausage/coffee/juice/milk.

                Lunch will be served from 11AM – 1PM.
                Cost is $10 for Hamburger / Potato Salad / Chips / Cookie

Our spacious property will offer music, picnic tables, food options, port-a-potties, air-conditioned buildings, and on-site first aid.  We invite you to relax and enjoy the property before and after your race.

All registrants will receive a performance short sleeve t-shirt, swag bag and a race bib. All finishers wearing a race bib will receive a finishers medal. A unique award will be presented to the top male finisher and top female finisher.

Kid Races: 12 & Under

Free Kid Races is targeted at 12 & Under, although they are allowed to register and pay for an official race.

Proceeds from the Trail Mix Race Series support Camp Decorah maintenance and a variety of youth programs offered at Camp Decorah to the community.

Camping registration required , closes August 21, 2024.
